Anti-Human Thyroglobulin mAbs.
We carry the top published clones for IHC.
There are numerous Thyroglobulin (TGB) monoclonal antibodies that have been used in publications. 2H11, 6E1, SPM221 and SOM517, and TGB04, TGB05, and TGB24 produced acceptable staining patterns. A cocktail of 2H11 and 6E1 is also available to aid in optimization of staining as these clones are often used together in the literature.
Why are these better than the same clones from other vendors?
All of our anti-human thyroglobulin antibodies are produced in bioreactors to reduce the amount of non-immune Ig present in our products. Non-immune Ig is derived from ascites or serum in traditional hybridoma culture. It may represent as much as 50% of antibody you are sold, but doesn’t bind the correct target. It reduces sensitivity, specificity and reproducibility.
